I saw one of these post in the vid section and thought it should be here as well.

Messed with three pins today..

1. Comet Finally figured why it was blowing F2 for the solenoids. It was related to those stupid lockout coils in the coin door. Thought I checked them before, guess not..

2.TX Sector Had an issue where after you lock a ball it would kick it out prematurely. Traced it back to the switching diode board and reflowed the solder on the header pins...

3. Genesis Had some ground issue problems with this. Did the mods and still gave me issues. It was one of the mpu boards that had the daughtercard on it; reflowed the solder where the daughter meets the main board and seems to be working good...

1.) Cleaned the glass on each of my pins.

2.) Played a few games on each machine.

3.) Found myself continuing to be impressed with Pinball Magic, and thinking that its well on the way to becoming the favorite table in my collection.

Nice, you have a Pinball Magic!!!! Played it for the first time last year and could'nt stop playing it. You gotta love those Capcom pins!

looked at them and smiled. I need to get more bits to do anything more to them.

Did hit up the local burger meca to play fish tales and MM though.

Cleaned my BSD cabinet and backbox. Made a deal with Tom for a set of repro BSD proto sling plastics.

Opened up my TFTC - replaced several dead bulbs in the backbox and playfield. Cleaned the backglass and translite. Replaced the AAA batteries and reset various adjustments. Replaced the red flipper buttons with new ones. Fiddled around with the leveling. Replaced 1 worn and 1 missing black post sleeves. Made a list of parts to order.

A few other bits. Actually played a few games (gasp).

It's the only Capcom I've ever had the chance to play, and I'm sure itching to try another one; most notably Big Bang Bar. That one looks like it would be a lot of fun.

I drilled the locks on my Spider-Man, as it didn't come with keys. I also took a bunch of "before" pictures of my World Cup Soccer so I can document the shopping out process on that. I'd like to get my pre-shop pictures on the Spider-Man taken too, but that will probably be tomorrow.

I finally finished shopping out my Goldeneye on Sunday. I took it apart a few weeks ago...but finally had some "me" time this weekend. Cleaned, waxed, new rubber, new bulbs, new decals ...plays really nice and smooth. I think I'll take some video of it tomorrow...haven't done one of my youtube vids in a while.

Unfortunately I'm breaking down the pins in my "gameroom" because I have to move all the pins from my warehouse there over the next month. 100ish pins under one roof should be interesting.

So that's what I did to them today and will be doing for many days. Stored them.
