so what did u do with your games today?

Control panel work.
Got some flat stock and bolts to cut and weld up a trackball mount and then routed out some ply and drilled a few holes.

Turned on ALL 19 machines (not my 3 pinballs) and discovered I have a LOT of work to do on a LOT of machines.

Food Fight… Player 2 doesn't work… hasn't worked since I brought it home from the sellers house. Never tested it (lesson learned) when i was there… played about 4 - 1 player games.. Anyone know the Jedi knight of Food Fight board repairs. (Only guessing this is the issue). Open for suggestions.

Donkey Kong… restarts after 20ish minutes… I'm sure it's losing voltage somewhere.

DKJR… cap kit.. runs beautifully, but colors are not vibrant.

Popeye… Top 1/4 of the monitor is squished down…. Cap kit and address marquee light not working.

Joust… beautiful monitor.. plays great. address marquee light not working.

Crazy climber… swap monitors with my Centipede table top monitor.

Tempest… plays blind… Ugh…. Love this game and it needs some love and attention.

Robotron…. Colors are missing. Mecha told me years ago it's probably a cold solder joint.. but I've been lazy. address marquee light, and adjust joysticks… controls do NOT respond like they should… maybe this is why I've totally sucked at this game for the last 4 years… or I'm just not that good at it.

Played some Mrs. Pac man (FAST) and played Food Fight, Millipede, Centipede, Asteroids Deluxe, TRON, and Crazy Climber.
Still trying to bust 200K on Crazy climber… it gets so damn difficult.

Winter is going to show up eventually here in WI… but it's flippin 60 degrees outside… went for a walk in the park with the wife… no arcade repairs today.

Rebuilt trackball for my trackball cabinet. Rolls so much better. I thought I was done with my arcade line up, but got a good deal on a Mazinger z pcb. So street fighter is getting made over. Also loaded up the gumball machine with these sticky hands things. My boys loved these as kids, so nice bit of nostalgia there.1000022609.jpg1000022605.jpg1000022610.jpg

CP madness abounds.
Sipping some port and listening to Judas Priest while texting @jawhn and waiting for some resin to kick.

Scored a raised letter coin door for my Q*Bert project. It had the blank plate, but luckily I had a Gottlieb one saved for it.

Top hinge is kinda wonky, but it was cheap so no complaints from me. 🤷 I'll massage it out. There's a snapped bolt I'll have to EZ out too.

When I put it on a bunch of the retaining hardware was missing, so think someone kept the original coin door. I don't blame em!

Little detail, but it just does so much for a game. 😍

I got my arkanoid put together, and working. Little bit of art still to do. I also fixed my g07 I was working on and had vertical collaspe.. Tracked it down to size pot being bad. Stole one off another chassis and will add to my next order with AP&R.1000022792.jpg1000022791.jpg

Started working on the Four Million BC i picked up over the weekend. Been in storage since the mid 90s, after the match unit caught on fire. Its filthy, needs new rubbers, about half of the bulbs are burned out, both bells are missing, all the inserts are badly cupped, and there were multiple wasp and mouse nests inside, but surprising its about 80% working out of the box. Total oddball pin. 1971 with 2 and 3 ball multi-ball, zipper flippers, a true skill shot, and an outlane kicker.looking forward to getting it 100%
