so what did u do with your games today?

running through the fix-it catalog.

Monster Zero still needs an art package and some general cosmetic work. That'll happen pretty soon, I think.
Astro Fighter and Targ are fixed... again. Warp-1 looks nice as well, I just need to get on the ball about the control panel.

That Mario came out great I really miss having that cab around. Today I have been cleaning and testing some pcb's I've kept at friends and families houses. First time in a year I've played at all since selling nearly all my sega and capcom stuff and moving across the country.

I'm on a roll right now (lol)… Marble Madness, its about 1/2 done. New bottom panel (old one was rotted out), new laminate sides/front, art from TOG, fresh Powdercoating on all the metal bits, new fan, fresh LED marquee light (warm white), new trackballs, the System1 multi-board, and soon the multi panel when the cpo gets here. Still need to keep assembly going, get the A/R board rebuilt, then rebuild the CRT, and maybe a tube swap? Hmmm.

finally removed the leaky battery on the Lost World and installed a remote battery holder
I've had the game since about '94 or '95 (the battery worked up until a month or 2 ago... got my money's worth :p)
may be selling this to someone local. I offered a discounted price since he gave me a deal on another cabinet...gotta make room...we'll see...

Wired up the Pitch and Roll pots for Starship 1 on my test harness. At first we were all good with both controls appearing to work in game! Alas, now with these wired up I'm now popping the 2A fuse for unregulated 10V coming from the power brick. Replacing fuse it popped again within 10-20 seconds.

Could be the scanner itself, mine's sensor bar is in wicked shape. Like if I look REALLLLLY closely on a very solid colour you'll see a TINY bit of banding, but for things that are getting vectorized anyway, it's no big deal. Plus, anything photorealistic its an easy fix in Photoshop.

This is just a little Hackintosh I put together about 10 years ago. Works well on this scanner, and then I save the files over the network to one of my other Macs and ship them off to ArcadeArtShop, XL, or TOG. Depends who wants them.

I finished this...

Massive thanks to Rich & Kendra @ThisOldGame for the killer side art, @GadgetFreak for his multi-board, @Andrela and our buddy Al for their help with the boards, and @JoshODBrown for helping me find the cab.

As soon as the multi-CPO's are ready I'll build out the @Takeman multi panel I have too. :) Very happy with this one, I've got a small gallery below if you're board.

All I got to do today was fret over the next step to take in the eleven currently open projects.
Oh wait, twelve- because of the Shaq pin.
For the love of Pete-
