A friend of my brothers offered me a free but broken pinball machine. He didn't know exactly what it was but even though I'm not really into pins I said I'd take it(hey depending on the pin it could be worth alot even unrestored right?). I'll take pictures and do updates after I get it in a few weeks but I'm probably just gonna try to see if one of you will trade me a vid or two for it.

Dude, I want to know everything about this when you get pics and stuff! I might be interested in buying it off you, but I probably won't want to trade for it.

Good luck.. 99.9% of the free pins or hey, I've got this in my garage please come and take it.. Are usually busted old EM pins from the 1970s.. But hell, you could get lucky:)

Yeah it could be nothing or even some rare EM pin that people are looking for. It's in his parent's basement in Florida and he wasn't sure exactly what it was. I'll take it anyway because the way I figure even if it's not to sought after it's probably worth $50-$100 in the worst case scenario.

What part of Florida? If you are not interested in it once you see it, I might be. I am close to Pensacola.

Thanks

I'm currently waiting for a buddy to tell me that his dad wants his Captain Fantastic out of the basement because he's sick of looking at it like he did with the spider-man cabinet i got years ago.

hey you never know.

You'll have to let us know right away what the pin is when you find out.

I got lucky on my first pin - it too was a freebie:

Firepower - needed the board interconnects rebuilt, and some wiring harness connectors replaced. Fun as hell.

Save up some money. Pins can cost some ching to fix and maintain.

It's already worth the asking price. Get it fast before someone else tells them every pin is worth $1000. Free is always best but here is the only salvageable parts from my last free pin. THe playfield is covered with mold and the cabinet turned to dust when I moved it.

Worst comes to worst, sell it for $50-$100 to cover your time to go get it and bring it back. You can never lose on free stuff, as long as you're not driving 15 hours each way to go get it, lol.

A free Firepower!?! Not only was it free, but it happened to be one of the best games of its time. :p
