So...we've been trying to strip our Galaga cab for the past week and needless to day, it hasn't been going well. That crap is seriously on there. Between 2 cans of highly corrosive paint stripper gel, a finishing sander with 80 grit and a Mouse sander with 80 grit pads, we've barely been able to take off a quarter of the paint, even after 4 hours. So, I had the bright idea of getting a belt sander to speed up the process...

...yeah...not the brightest idea. Gouged the hell out of it.

So, lesson learned. Belt sanders are bad on cabs, mmmkay?

Eh, a little Bondo, she'll be fine, no worries. I just figured I'd share it as both a humorous anecdote and as a warning to other impatient KLOVers.

How's this for a good motto for us: Real kLOVERS do it nice and slow.

You see what I did there ;)

Sorry to hear about your cab.

My Highschool shop teacher once said the quickest way to ruin what your working on is to use a belt sander...I never really believed him until I used one.
