I'm just curious...has anyone been to the restaurant or ordered his hot sauce? Is it any good? My wife said anything Billy Mitchell related cannot enter our home (she is a Wiebe fan)...

if its good I might order a sample pack or something. It is the BBQ'ing season after all...

...

Ive given away like 90% of it. I think I might be down to my last 10 bottles or less.
where do you think gamefixer got his bottle from :) Ill put you first in-line if i decide to mail some out :)

I like it. Probably my favorite brand so far. I'll have to reorder here soon as I'm almost out.

If you like vinegar instead of heat & flavor, you might like it...

Nothing that claims to be Habanero should be 'drinkable'.

I haven't tried it yet, here's some that I picked up at the Seattle show.

1) Seattle Inaugural Medallion Ceremony
2) Walter Takes on Challengers in Seattle
3) Justin Wong Street Figher II
4) Steve Wiebe Donkey Kong Attempt at E3

I got a crate from him.. its good.

No, its not. It is crap. The only way it could be considered "good" would be if you like drinking vinegar straight from a bottle.

Try something like "Brain Damage" if you want "good" hot sauce.

I've never tried it, but am interested in finding a bottle someday to give it a try. I've kept my eyes peeled in the store but never seen it around here... :p

Its not crap.. its fine.. Ive had plenty of people say "its just like Louisiana Hot Sauce". Which is good.

jon

With all due respect, if you have even been to Louisiana and eaten what they serve there, you would understand that Billy's Vinegar sauce is NOTHING like what is served in Louisiana. When I lived in Boston, I used to travel to New Orleans, Shreveport and Lake Charles Louisiana all the time for my job, and I can tell you it isn't the same.

It's crap.

That doesn't have anything to do with what he said. "Louisiana" is the brand name of a popular hot sauce made by Bruce Foods:

What is and what isn't actually served at the places you've been to in Louisiana = irrelevant.

BTW, the primary ingredient in most any "hot sauce" is vinegar, whether it be Tabasco brand, Louisiana brand, or whatever.

Did anyone see the Curb episode where Larry and Cheryl have dinner at an ex-porn star's house, and the porn star goes into a story at the dinner table about how he couldn't get hard when he was banging two chicks, and when he wasn't looking a gay guy working the set rammed his finger up the porn star's ass with hot sauce on it and it made him real hard and he was able to finish the take? Anyone see that one?

I always think of that episode when I see hot sauce.

Can't find it on youtube, but the episode is called "Porno Gil" and is Season 1, Episode 3.

I have never had that before. When I think of the style of hot sauce I have had in that part of the country, I think of something like Trappey's....which is made in Louisiana. And yeah, I am well aware that vinegar is a main ingredient. If it is made properly, you shouldn't have a strong vinegar taste. Billy's sauce tastes just like vinegar with a little bit of cayenne & garlic thrown in.

I'm sorry, but it is crap. If you people insist on eating crap, go right ahead. I'm not going to look past the fact it is crap just because Billy makes it.
