been sick in bed all week. emailed an ebay seller about his $6495 addams family.

Am I wrong in thinking that a clean stock taf is worth an easy $3500?

So I ask him what $3000 worth of mods did he do to it? He messages me back that there was not $3000 worth of mods on it.

I wonder what made this common everyday TAF worth more?

Isn't that just typical pricing for a top 10 game nowadays? Gotta be priced like a nice used car, and steadily heading towards costing as much as a nice NEW car? ;)

Seriously? $6500? When I see those kinda prices, I figure it's either a flipper selling to neophytes, or one of those neophytes who has NO clue how badly they got ripped off when they bought it, and are just "trying to get their money out of it"...

If it was an Addams Family Gold, NIB, covered in golden gravy, perhaps...

Buddy of mine just picked up a TAF needing a little work for 1500 bucks.
Just be patient.

I already have one . lol . did half way decent on it.. Not 1500 decent, but decent.

I was just bored and was wanting him to justify the price. Since it was on high side for what it was.

Condition is everything. A nice original game (almost HUO condition) with a good playfield (no mansion wear, nice chair hole, etc) could be worth $6000+.

People can ask whatever they want. If they hold out long enough someone may pay their asking price. I was offered $12k for my Addams Gold but did not want to sell it. I have seen 'A' title games at the Expo sell for extremely high prices in the last few years.

I agree. There is a real real nice one on ebay for $89xx something or another. The seller goes into detail what was done and justifies the price tag. I dont know if it was nine grand nice, but it certainly was beautiful.

The other one looked to be a $3500 machine priced at $6500. But what do I know.
