so i got my arcadeshop taito switching power supply.......

i got the powersupply and conversion kit for my elevator action from arcadeshop, now one question..... what wires do i tap into to power the supply???? thanks, here's a pic of what i got!

I did this conversion 2 or 3 months ago, really glad I did, and it worked awesome.

I think the directions from arcadeshop said to tap into the power going to the monitor, but I chose to split the wires from the marquee light. cut, add wires, and you are good.
 
there were no instructions that came with the supply. the connectors go the monitor and ?? i don't remember (i'll pull it out tomorrow) but i'd rather get advice from you guys before i start hacking away!!

Usually the bottom connector supplies the monitor and the other is empty. Someone tapped something else, most likely the marquee light, into the other connector. If it is the marquee I would suggest tapping off of those wires for the switcher.
 
done and done!!! couldn't wait to get home from work and get started! i wound up tapping into the marquee light, the monitor line didn't allow much play or easy access. i had to shave down the insulation a little on the wire, but once that was done it lit up , tested the voltages, plugged in the board and game on!!! thanks for the help all who chimed in!!
