So Cal Swap Meet Score

All the years I have been attending this swap meet and the costa mesa one I have never encountered Arcade Machines. Just video games. Sweet score.

Ya, like I said, maybe once or twice a year for me. I found a Scramble a few months ago, too. I am keeping the Burgertime, but grouping the Mappy with another game I have had trouble moving, Astro Blaster and trying to sell them both cheap.

The Burgertime works great :)

Wow, what an incredible score on the Burgertime! Post some better pics of it when you have a chance, so that I can be even more envious! ;)
I purchased 5 cabs at a local flea market about a year and a half ago, but they were mostly converted, non working junk, but I only paid $100 for all 5, lol. I've never seen any since.

nice pickup! Any story to the games? Both look pretty nice.. Had tp be in someones home for a long time.

My first 3 games came from 2 different flea markets back in the early 80's. capitol drive in gave up a food fight. Cow palace gave up a space duel cocktail and sprit of 76 tennis cocktail.

Congrats on the sweet burgertime Mike.

So which spot had the most Arcades in the OC through your years of swapmeetin?

GW
Cypress
Costa Mesa

Congrats once again

It is about split 50/50 I would say. Between GW and Cypress. I have never had any luck finding anything at the Costa Mesa swap meet.

How have you been? Any thing new lately?

The only time I EVER found an arcade game at a swapmeet, it was a Mappy in A+++ condition. A quick $100 and I was outta there with a minty fresh Mappy. Seeing this thread just reminded me of it....also a funny coincidence that you also found a Mappy of all the games possible. Oh, and this was at the Goldenwest swapmeet back in 1998 or 1999.

I remember going to a Costa Mesa swap meet and seeing a guy selling multicades...

Seller: "$6000."

Me: "Really? It's running MAME, right?"

Seller: "Um...right."

Me: "Really? $6000? Really?"

Seller: [sheepish grin]

If I ever need a new pair of $10 sunglasses, I'll go back.
