I need to replace Freddy's balls, and I'm sure, Frank's balls as well. (Frank hasn't arrived yet.)

So, what's THE choice for ball replacement?

Heh, pbresource 'cheapo balls' are actually more expensive than those. So the moral of the story: don't buy your balls from pbresource. He apparently just sells common ball bearings of the right size.

Oh and ya take care of your balls, like wax'em up with some polish, I use mothers for all metals seems ok, or just buy new ones $1.50 a ball from Terry is not bad. I have replaced my balls 3 times in a year (by my choice).

Does anybody know how many balls are in each machine: Freddy & Frankenstein? Does the multiball number match the total number of balls to be found in a machine? (Freddy is 4; Frank is 6)

Aren't all balls pretty much the same?

For the most part, but there are varying grades of ball. The lower the grade number, the higher the quality. High grade balls (low number) are more perfectly round, and are supposedly a bit harder. The difference between the mirror polished balls and the standard balls is the amount of polishing put into them. If you could polish balls up yourself, you could save the $.50 per ball and go with the standard ball. To me, it's not worth the effort and I actually have a buffing wheel.

All pinball are just varying grades of ball bearings, if you want to be exact though.

Yes sir that be it. 6 ball multi-ball sounds like fun, 4 ball is good to. pinballlife.com for your balls.
