I got the chance to hit my final goal and own a Tron this year, I almost didn't make it but last night I talked the wife into it. A big thanks to ThatGuy (Paul) for giving me the time to get the wife to okay it after my Star Wars purchase. I'll post up some pics a little later once I get it in place in the Hoarders Arcade..... LOL

Sweet. I just did a run as well. Picked up 2 playchoice, Ninja Gaidon, Demolition Derby and Gyruss. No Tron yet for me but it on my list :)

Thanks, I saw your post about the final run of the year and couldn't let you win :D I need some cosmetic stuff for the game but it plays great. I'm going to start with my typical clean, lube and adjust on it, then worry about the main art. Does anyone have a link for the replacement stick halves? I want to change those out and do some front decals, I'd also like to know a good place for other plastics like the light cover. I saw the Phoenix Arcade but that cover is a little pricey, I thought I saw a cheaper one that people were saying looked good.

You win!! Im too tired to fit in another run this year :)

I have the Plastics from Phoniex arcade, they are awesome.. I have 1 extra cant remember if its the top or bottom.. It has one small scratch on it but its still very nice.. If your interested I can dig it out.. I may be wrong but I do believe Phoniex Arcade is the only place that sells them..

I have redone most of the art on mine.. It looks soo sweet.. I got the inner art for christmas but have not installed it.. Im torn on the side art mine is original prob a 8/10 so I have left ot for now, but if I put new sideart on it then it would be mint...

Let me know on that plastic, I'm interested. From what I've read Phoenix Arcade is the best place to get my parts. My side art is jacked but I was having a hard time finding a fully working game in my price range so this was by far my best find. I'm still fresh into this so once I get my collection settled I'm going to start doing more of the detail work, for now I'll stick to mechanical and the in your face cosmetic issues.

Great way to end the 2011 year! Glad you're happy with the game. The cabinet, monitor, and board are in fantastic shape and I'm sure youll have it looking cherry.

It was crazy though, after only a few minutes of talking we discovered that my wife and Jeff lived only a few streets away from each other growing up and attended the same high school in Fair Oaks, CA. He even brought a friend along who attended the same HS as well so my wife busted out the yearbooks. Fun stuff.

Congrats and welcome to the grid (and the Tron owner's club), User!

That was funny, I'm always finding how small of a world it is. Very nice arcade by the way, I was really checking out the posters, pictures and toppers you had, the Star Wars collection is a must see.... I missed the chance to sit in the cockpit though.
The cosmetics on the cab are minor, no chunks out of the edges so some artwork and a couple light covers will make this a very clean game. I'm stoked, I just put my Empire kit too so it's been a great year!

I know we could have hung out for longer but when the wife calls after an hour and you're three hours away it's time to hit the road. Perhaps they'll be another purchase or deal in the future.
