I found a snow bros arcade machine for 50 dollars not working is it worth taking a gamble on it? The cabinet is in pretty good shape...how much r one of these working?

what's wrong with it? PCB or Monitor? I'd say yes. The boards alone can sell for $50.

Yeah, I'd do it. I loved playing that one back in the '90s at my local 7-Eleven. It'd be nice to see the original cabinet again.

Sounds like someone looking for a flip op instead of someone who loves Snow Bros.

Just MHO.

No I love this game. I just don't know much about fixing them. New to the hobby so not sure if its a good first machine to work on.

No worries.

It'll somewhat depend on what cabinet it's in. We need more details to help you...

I also say go for it, if you can.

Even if parts cost the same as the cabinet, you're only out $100.

I've never seen this game "out in the wild{in its heyday/since joining the hobby}", so it's great to see one pop up/get rescued!

I've always had to settle for the NES version, and the Sega Genesis port is even rarer than the arcade original!

Ugh. Don't remind me. I'm still kicking myself years later for letting go of my Snow Bros. MegaDrive cart. It was an AWESOME port.

Even though the NES Snow Bros. port is pretty watered-down, at least I can afford it{as the Genesis one goes for around the same high prices as the Tengen-based Tetris Genesis port}!

I feel the same about both the Tengen NES port of Shinobi and/or the NES/Acclaim port of N.A.R.C.{in that they're altered enough to nearly-function as separate games from their original versions}.
