I put a WG 19"in my ms pac cocktail...Fired it up and it looked beautiful...Little curl on the right but I'm assuming (perhaps incorrectly) that I'll be able to adjust that out...

Soon after firing it up, I started hearing (quiet) snap...Then 20 second later, snap, then quick vertical line and blank.

Fire it back up and it comes back on but snaps are back....

Any idea whats going on? Sounds like somethingis arcing maybe?

Sounds like a bad fly, arcing tube, or the dag ground wire isn't connected. Check your dag wire first, but other than that, you're gonna have to fire it up with it open to see where it's sparking at. What model is it?

thanks, will check it out!

Now, onto the curling and a new issue, discoloration...

The lower right hand side of the screen (when sitting in the P1 spot) is discolored...I tried to degauss but it comes right back. Monitor is quite new and didnt have a degauss issue that I know of...Maybe its the fan in the bottom of the cocktail cab? Anyone have similar issues?

Also, curling up the right hand side...Cant adjust it out...At least, not using the vpos, hpos pots....Ideas?

Thanks

If it's a 7400, there will be a sticker on the back left corner that says something like WGM2574-xxxxxxxxxx...

likely I think you read a serial number or something. alternatively, I had trouble identifying a K7000 earlier today (I'm not familiar with them ... these ones look entirely different from the one in my Street Fighter cab), and just pulled a neckboard and read the numbers off it, a P448-B.

the K7000 came with a few different neck configurations.

the one in my SF cab actually read 25K7171 on one of the labels in the monitor tray. these 2 K7000s in our Suzuka cab however had no such labels.

if it's a K7400, it would resemble a layout like the U5000 or K7500. I think if you can see some markings on the deflection board toward the middle front that are empty but say "15K" and "24K" (I believe the 7400 and 7500 were just reworked U5000s where there were no jumper blocks for selecting a resolution) then it's a K7400... it's my way of telling.

the K7000 had a squarish shape to it, and looks very primitive.

Well, the curl has been adjusted out...the discoloration changes based on the direction the game is facing and the snaping seems to have subsided....For now...

I am trying to identify what monitor I have I believe after reading this that its the 7400 but want to double check that. On the neck board I have a sticker that reads:
WGM2574-U4TR17K
054A2193-022

Any help would be great. Thanks
