Nice find, man. Good candidate for a multi-vector.

If it was me, I think I would just keep it around to play Capcom Bowling. Just me, I guess.
I got one from this place, https://www.jammaparts.net/48-multi-vector-21-1. Works good, Tempest is tuff with a joy stick, do not know if I could put a spinner in or not, but all the other games are good... Mike
is capcom bowling vertical or horizontal? I don't get the multi-vector being horizontal in a vertical tempest cab. Interesting though so subscribed.
also , the monitor in it seems pretty burn free. its a hanterex MTC 900E.
Guy said it worked fine then it just quit one day.
Its gets no power.. the HOT is beeping at me with my meter on it.
You think it might just be the HOT? I have the NTE Cross ref and can get one tomorrow.
anything else special i should know?
9/10 times on the MTE9000s (later model but similar in some respects) there is a resistor on the right that gets really hot and this tells you the HOT and or flyback is shorted. Honestly I've put HOTs and fly backs in the 9000s and had reasonable success at bringing back to life on that alone.
The Hantarex chassis are difficult sometimes though... I'm getting help on these boards for a few bad apples myself.
what i did was....
I got a burn free donor tube, a frame and a k7000 chassis off ebay.
I think ill be ok with just that for now.
Today i am stripping the poopy paint off the cab along with the t molding.
the original tempest side art is still under the paint so im hoping thats ok.
I'm sure I don't need to tell you that the K7000 is way better(I'm sure that's why you did it) - but if nothing else you know where to start if you ever decide to fix the Hantarex. If the Hantarex is burn free you may want it in the future!
I'm going to be doing my first K7000 tube swap at some point this summer... Been grabbing tubes lately!
Wouldn't you want to run a computer monitor in this instead of CGA? Seems like a CRT computer monitor would do a much better job of faking a vector.
