I had the same issue with my SPO. It was horrible.

I treated it with vinegar and concentrated lemon juice. 75/25 concentration.

I let it soak in for 10 minutes wiped it down and sanded it the next day.

Repeated the process 2 more times..


No more stink and its lemony fresh.

Here we are, 3 years away from hover boards and flying cars... and we still don't have an useful gizmo to randomly change the smell of a room for you.

Sure we do, it's called your furnace.
I sprinkle a few drops of scented oil on the filter, everytime the furnace kicks on the whole house is refreshed.

The hotel I used to work at had an Indian couple rent a room for 3 months.

The room still smelled like curry 2 years after they checked out.

It seems you would never get any curry smells with an indian guy by himself, only when they brought their wives over on the trip with them. I guess the bachelors didn't make food in the rooms and just ate the burgers from next door or something.

I use to have a simpsons cab that was owned by an indian guy, after a while my whole game room started smelling like curry, I really love Indian food but this smell was unbearable.
