SMB flipper coil burned out....replacement options?
So as luck would have it, one of the flipper coils on my Gottlieb Super Mario Bros fried. In the manual, it says the coil is a 25959, which is a 3.85/202 resistance/ohm and 445/1225 turns. Neither of the flipper coils in the machine are that one. However, on the coil chart inside the machine, it lists a bunch of different flipper coil numbers with different ohms and turns, some higher, some lower. Can I replace the flipper coils with any of these? Or should I just do what the manual says?
