I got the stv speaker stencil from TOG. Have never done a stencil on anything much less a speaker panel. Has anyone done one of these? Should I spray, brush, or roll it?

Personally I'd first make sure that the metal has no dents/bends in it. I'd straighten it out, then spray it with Rustoleum 2X Satin black (has built in primer) on the whole thing. Back side first, then front. Then I'd let it cure for a while. Lastly, I'd apply the stencil and use Rustoleum 2X Satin white to finish it off.

Typically, with metal, you'd use spray paint only.

Thank you so much! Rustoleum it is.

I recently did mine, I loved the way it came out I painted the grill Canyon Black Rustoleum and had it set for days.
Installed stencil.
Then, I sprayed Semi Gloss White Rustoleum several light coats then about 15 minutes later after last coat, slowly pulled off stencil it was nerve racking but all and all it came out great.
I actually bought 2 of the stencils just in case. First one came out so good didn't have to use the second stencil.
