Hi - I managed to pick up a K7000 25" from a fellow KLOV'r today and just diving into getting this connected to my Smash TV cab.

A few questions, I hope someone experience can help with.

The K7000 wiring diagram has Red, Green, Blue, Gnd as well as +Vert Sync, -Horz Sync, Gnd, -Vert Sync and -Horz Sync.

However, my Smash TV only has one Video Sync coming out of it. What do I connect this to and do I leave the others empty?

Thanks!

The research I've done seems to suggest the STV sync should connect to the K7000 -HSync. The others would remain empty. Can anyone confirm this? Thanks!

K7000 and Smash TV

So I have connected up the monitor and I'm getting a picture - only now I'm seeing some waviness/etc at the top of the screen - as seen in photos.

Can anyone suggest a fix to this?

Thanks

horizontal hold. the 50/60 pot has nothing to do with waves. it's a vertical linearity adjustment. I'm not trying to single out or be a jerk about this, it just keeps getting passed around and it's incorrect.

Smash TV being a JAMMA game uses negative composite sync, it only goes to pin 10 on the signal header of the monitor.

Tried both - no dice. Will tinker a bit more today.

Currently I have the RGB, Video Ground, and the one Smash video sync hooked into -Horz Sync on the K7000 but I also have a standard black wire ground hooked into the K7000 as well - should I just remove this, any idea if this would cause any issue?

I also read that someone disconnected the sync connection while the game was on and then re-connected and the issue went away.

Also reading that certain Jamma pcbs and K7000's bring up this issue somewhat randomly, and that if I hooked up another Jamma pcb this issue may not display.

Thoughts?
