Smash TV 19" studio bezel

looks great! I like the bars. Maybe make the silver ones match the gold ones in size and put the text in the bars. I would ditch the pattern over the bars, and put the bars ontop.

What do you think?

Both cameras are partially hidden, but I think it looks better this way.

Seems you are the only one who likes that example, mrbill2084 :001_sbiggrin:

OK, here you have two options to try them on your cabinets. I've used Posterazor to convert them into pdf files (so you can print them easily at home). Each picture is divided in 12 pieces, with overlapped seccions (the red rectangles shown in the following pic).

If you want to save paper (and money ;)), you can print only the 4 corners (just to check if the hidden parts of the screen are too huge or not).

;)

P.D. Unfortunately, the cabinet I showed 2 posts ago is not mine. I used the pictures I found in this thread to make a composition of the final result ;)

Printing pages 1,4,9,12 of option 1 right now for test fit. :D

OK i'd just like to say the corners/sizing is pretty much perfect (the upper lamps could maybe be a little larger but you can be the judge in picture 2).

Photo1 is the most important, it shows how well it lines up with the higher edge of the bezel:

Photo2 you can see how well the red boarder and yellow lights line up with the bezel once your up close it's really a nice fit in the corners (pay little attention to the lower right as i couldn't get it farther below the monitor bracket to line up correctly but you get the idea).

Only other thing i might try is making the lamps at the top a little bigger in size but i'll leave that up to Aioros and the rest of you, honestly i'd rock this on my machine as it is, but maybe i'm not the only one that feels that way.

Great!!

I'm glad to see that if fits well :D

I can prepare the first pic with bigger lamps. No problem :), but you'll have to wait till tomorrow ;)

Thank you for the photos. They help a lot :001_scool:

Take your time :D

No problem on the photo's it's the least i can do.

Anything that looks really off is just because of the angle i took the photo at (if anyone was wondering).

That looks good....... Print on glass or Plexi, Make the bulbs pop!????
how you guys going about this?

Damn, This makes me want to get a Smash TV Big cab now.

+1 on the glass too. I would second the motion on making the lights at the top bigger too.
Thanks to everyone that is slowly making this happen.
Have you heard anything from Rikitiki on being able to do these for the group?

Print it on glass please! If someone makes it for sale, I will get whatever version people agree upon.

as long as aioros signs off on the finished product i'll be ready to order thursday. I would like someone else to double check all measurements tho just so we're all as close to 100% on the fit atleast :D (if possible)

Well you got ahead of me James.
I was actually just about to pm you.
Unfortunately I won't be able to double check the measurements for you due to my Smash TV being in storage. :(
As for the finalization I pm'ed Rikitiki and he mentioned that he needed the measurements of the glass as well as the finalized artwork.
If you need anything from me on my end James please let me know.
:)

heh :D , I have no problems doing more measurements, I'll try and do it either tonight or tomorrow. It would definitely be good to get a 2nd set of measurements from a different person/cab tho just so we can compare and ensure it's a perfect fit for everyone.

yeah as soon as I have dimensions and file(s) Ill do a full sized test print

Ill also want to check colors, and will have to add a bleed and vector cut line to remove the center to the correct shape for laminting to the glass

I just wanted to thank Aioros and Broodwich (James) for all of the leg work you both have done to get this project to where it is now.
Hats off to you both.
