Smash TV 19" studio bezel

Hey!! you are fast as thunder, dude :D.

Thank you Broodwich, I can start working with that :)

Just give me some time and I'll post here the results ;)

P.S: I totally agree with you, Shawn1976. That was my first option, but I found this pic and decided to do the second one too.

Sweet.
I hope this turns out.
I've been really looking foward to a 19" bezel design for my 25" for a while now.
Are you making the bezels too or no?

No, sorry. I only design. Having the file, you can print it anywhere you want to :)

Here is a preview:

Unfortunately, there's no much room is this layout to place all the elements in their original size. I tried adding larger cameras, but as result, part of the screen is hidden.

The black rectangles in the upper and lower side are hidden parts of the bezel, according with the layout provided by Broodwich.

yea there's definitely little room on the sides as well as next to no room on the top and bottoms for the large black area like in the 19" size. I was afraid of this but at the same time ready to accept that issue regardless.

Anything is better than nothing and what you have there is fantastic keep it up!

Is there anyone here that can put the artwork on the glass as one piece?

No, sorry. I only design. Having the file, you can print it anywhere you want to :)

I'm not completely against the camera's taking up a small area of the bottom of the screen :D

not sure how i feel about the bars, they're growing on me tho.

I sent out a PM about having these printed up in the end, hopefully the person i contacted is a go

Not a big fan of the bars of gold and silver at the bottom either.
Any way on making the artwork stretch to the top of the design at all?
That black space at the top doesn't look right.

OK ;), so without the bars...

Shawn1976, stretching the image is not a problem. The main thing is this:

Those black rectangles are hidden parts of the bezel (according to the measurements made by Broodwich).

If you try to fit the picture using all the available space, the result would be like this:

That's why having an accurate layout of this bezel is so important ;).

Rikitiki said:
yeah I can put these on glass either size no problem
is this art vector or raster?

Knowing the right dimensions, I can provide you a raster image in original size (1:1 scale) ready to print.

I'm really glad to see this happening. This thread is making me miss my old Smash TV I sold last year! I may have to drive down to the Z-bar in Louisville next week and play it!

Great work so far guys!

Cool.
Now that you mention that part of the bezel that bleed's underneath the game, I see what you mean.
Can anyone answer Rikitiki's question about being vector or raster?
What would something like this cost to have made Rikitiki?

I've restored the entire set of artworks for this cabinet from scratch (25'' and 19'' cabs) using pics found on the Internet :). The Spanish forum I mentioned counts with both sets (they'll be available soon to download in raster format). Here you have a preview of the 19'' cabinet's artworks:

You can find people really involved in restoring and preserving arcade artworks there ;). They offer all their work for free, under Creative Commons license ("Attribution", "Non commercial", "No derivate works" and "Share alike"). I really got into this inspired by them (Lord Hiryu, Tapule, and many others) :35::35::35:.

Because of many annoying incidents with undesirable people, who were only interested in downloading all their work without saying "thank you" (i.e. people only interested in selling these arcade artworks), they decided to keep hidden the AFFA forum (Arcade Forever Free Arts forum) until anyone have reached, at least, 100 posts.

I guess, according to the access process to this forum, you had here quite similar problems in the past ;)

that looks amazing, nice work!

I'd love to get this kit printed so i could have a 19" version.

I think the only thing missing is the 19" version of the instruction card.

yea our forum makes you get referred or donate to ensure you really wanna be here and aren't a computer somewhere, it's worth it tho.
