Smart Crane-adjustment for number of tries ?

I have a Smart crane 7th generation that I am taking off "play until you win" and converting to small toys instead of candy. I can only get it to give you one try per game. I looked at the manual and must be brainfarting because I just don't see how you can adjust number of attempts. I see where you can adjust time before it times out and drops automatically.

Anyone know if this is possible. I would like it to give 3 tries per game.

you want to set up bonus credits. this is done int he following manner :

1. set dip #1 on bank 5 to ON

now you need to set the number of plays that will give a bonus credit to 1

2. enter the audit/settings mode
3. scroll to the setting "b.d"
4. move the control stick left until the timer reads "0.1"

now you need to set the number of bonus credits given to 2

5. go to the setting "b.c"
6. move the control stick right until the timer reads 0.2

7. go to setting "s.s" to save these settings


now for every 1 quarter inserted 3 plays should be credit to the player.
