Hey, is there any easy way to add a credit button to a slot machine. Or some way to just put it on free play. I know this is a bit vague but, I'm trying to find a generic device that i can install on five different machines to simulate a credit. Is there anything available like this on the market?

Free play

You could make something that simulates a coin drop. When you press a button
Problem is each machine probably has a different type of coin mech in it. Is the coin flipping past a wire that trips a micro switch. Each of the old mechanacil slots uses a different type of coin in. System. Or is there a comparator installed and it uses a optical sensor.
Problem with free play on slot is that if you try and direct wire a push button across the coin in switch and someone holds the button to long the machine errors out. And you end up power cycling the game.

Each machine would have to be looked at and a small circuit board could be made to simulate a coin drop. Press the free play button and the circuit board delivers the propper pulse and the slot is coined up,regardless of how long the player holds the free play button down.
