After fixing the intermittent light bulb problem under one of the slingshots on my Magic City, the kicker now kicks multiple times rapidly when activated. I know that this means that one or both of the switches is out of adjustment, but no matter how far I bend them back, any touch of the rubber causes the kicker to go multiple times. I'm sure it had something to do with "someone's big, fat fingers," as Clay would say. That said, It seems like I shouldn't have to bend those switches so far back to get them to contact properly. Is there a chance that the rubber is simply too tight around the posts?

Are you just bending to top of the switch connection or are you adjusting the bottom? Sometimes I've found that the bottom metal gets so close together that it doesn't matter how far apart the tops are

Also check if you have something shorting across the points, or if there is a capacitor on the points it could be shorted.

LTG :)
