"Slider" Leg Levelers - Where? In Bulk

I would like to know from someone who has these and has also used magic sliders on regular levelers how these compare for use on carpet? I don't know if these are essentially identical or what. I love magic sliders on mine but hate the price. I'd be prone to buy a ton of these if they are essentially identical in terms of "slide-ability".

Would someone volunteer to do a comparison and report back?

I was thinking of the MONO-15 part #. Same page, 2 sections up, MONACO SWIVEL. Same height and threads. Only diff is base width is 1 1/8" instead of 1 1/2. I'd go in on 40 of those with you. Only 45 cents per instead of 75.

Just be aware, the 1-1/8" is a very small footprint. (A quarter is pretty close in size)

I think I'm gonna get ones with at least a 1-1/2" base...

Just ordered a few of the TITAN-25 to compare with the R33-xxxx levelers. I also ordered some stubby R33s for those darn Williams cabinets. :(

I would be interested in the slide-a-bility factor as well. In my situation I am doing full game room carpet. Frankly I was looking for something a little nicer but mainly a little less snag prone for the occasion I had to slide a game out.

I can see that if I get a burr on a metal leveler, even a new one, I can end up pulling a thread.

I've used the TITAN's and the R33's. The TITAN's are nice and beefy, but don't come in a long thread. If you want them for pins, you might prefer the R33's. Unfortunately the R33's are pretty dinky, but are handy if you need something that swivels. I think either would slide on carpet just fine, but all of mine are in the garcade.

If you don't need the length or the swivel, get the TITANs.

Oh, for thick carpet, I'd worry about the R33's. The thickness of teflon or nylon, or whatever it is they use isn't very much, it might catch some carpet if you have a deep pile. I'd expect that they'd be fine on berber or similar, but again, I just need them to move on smooth cement, and both the TITAN and the R33's work great in that respect.

I bought a set of those magic sliders, and they're nice, but, yeah, for the price, and for a lot of games, you're better off just replacing the levelers. I would also think even the R33's would out last the plastic they use on the Magic Sliders.

I am going to have short pile "game room" carpet. Typical black light carpet. All the samples I have seen, from various mills, are of a somewhat short base carpet. So...I am hoping its not going to be an issue even with thin Teflon wafers crimped in the leveler.

i wonder what the shipping is like at archpro.com as i'm only in the need for 4 titan-25's (2 really).

what was shipping like on your order jeff?

didn't see an option for shipping quote anywhere or before proceeding to order.

Nice to hear the TITANs are good also.

I've only ever had one issue with the R33s and that was when I half crushed one and the Nylon broke out of the leg. I was wondering why it wouldn't slide and then I found the insert out in the driveway and knew what had happened. :)

They have a $25 minimum order. Shipping for 12-R33s and 24-TITANs was $7ish. I can send you a couple if you want. Probably be like $2-$3 for parcel post.

These are the sliders you are probably talking about:

Marco was the last place to carry them and I think it's because they bought out someone else's supply.

These are not available anyway but I'm betting someone would make them for you. If anyone knows who made these originally I still have an unopened package with the part number on it.

No sliders compare to these in terms of slickness. The downside is, these are soft and can wear down fairly quickly on concrete.

Geeze... let me email myself now so I remember when I get home in less than 2 hours. :D

I hear ya. If it wasn't for the 'calendar' function on my phone, I would forget everything... Thanks, man. I'm really interested in seeing what they look like from the bottom; the website only shows top views...

I bought well over 200 of these exact white teflon slider legs about a year ago with the intention of putting them on all my games. Welp, since my collection went from 60 games down to around 18, I have a few to sell off. They've never been used and are still in the original bulk bag they were shipped in.

If anyone's interested, I can get the actual length of the shaft. I need to see how many are in there... Gauging on interest, I'll price them below retail but I'm not giving them away. Just PM me with how many you might want and I'll see how many I can make available.
