I recently acquired a Slam Dunk. I had to replace the power supply to get it working. Everything works well minus a few missing bulbs except that it seems damn near impossible to actually score points on this thing.
It looks like there is a motor with a big plastic cam with limit switches that would adjust the launcher starting height which seems to greatly affect the ball direction (I tried holding the launch button half way down and then slamming it and I got a more arced trajectory). Unfortunately, I can't find anything in the manual about the cam and I don't see a pot or switch that would adjust it. The manual shows the motor and cam in the parts breakdown, but offers no explanation on it. Does anyone know how this cam is activated?
It's this game
