Skyrim

Sad but true...

484 hours played
Lvl 64 (completed everything in the game that I can find. Some things 2 or 3 times)
Lvl 30 (New Character)

I played on the normal skill setting to about lvl 32 on the first character and then switched to Master. I have played the new character on Master only (much harder at low lvls).

I stopped playing after I finished the mainline quests, hit level 70 (I think, whatever the top level is), and got the platinum trophy at 160 hours. I honestly thought I would have played it longer, but I just got bored. Hell, I maxed the 99 hour counter on FFVII easily on my 3 full playthroughs (not including playing just to beat it)

Bethesda's games have really made this generation fun for me. I was completely hooked on Fallout 3, and just last month I bought the GOTY New Vegas followup. I only wish it was more stable, but when it works well I can sink hours into the game and end up wanting more. These games are great until you reach the level caps and then the party seems to be mostly over.

I haven't gotten into Skyrim and the older Oblivion yet, so those may be next. I already own Oblivion, so that will be my next stop. I hope they have a lot of ranged weapons coming straight from the Fallout universe.

I'm surprised there haven't been any good gun mods for Skyrim yet. I admit I haven't checked out Nexus in awhile but I might be wrong. Usually, gun mods are just remodeled Staves and are pretty lame. However I'd like to see some porting of objects from Fallout 3 or New Vegas, even though such things are typically bannable offenses in the modding world.

I'm at a stage where there doesn't seem to be a lot left to do, but from my reading other people's experiencing and UESP, I know I still have more to do. So I just get to wander about and figure it out.

It helps if you have the strategy guide with maps, but I have found most quest/side quest by just going around and talking to everyone. Seems while on a quest several others will come my way.

Yeah I never bothered with the guides, although if I really get stuck on something I will look it up on UESP.
