Skyrim

more excited for this than any other game.. I wont care what comes out in 2012. cause ill be playing this. Big article in last game informer to

I agree...I pretty much creamed myself when I saw the cover of last month's Game Informer. After logging hundreds of hours in Oblivion, I'm ready for the next installment!

I'm watching this saying "there is no way those are in game graphics" and I remember saying the exact same thing when watching the Oblivion trailers for the first time. All I can say is that I hope this game doesn't come out until all the FNV DLC is done because I would be uninstalling that to play ES5.

can we talk about this.. next friday right? I am taking off friday, going to a midnight release and playing this till monday morning. the guide is 656 pages.. im so freaking pumped

Looks amazing! I've loved Fallout 3, New Vegas, Oblivion, and Morrowind- and it's a real shame right now that I don't have a PS3. Fuck.

what is CTD? Ill be playing this one on my new PC. Ill have to admit though after Dark Souls I'm not as excited kinda wore me out a bit. However I'm sure it will be awesome.

Crash To Desktop, which has been an issue with every game they've put out since Morrowind(Maybe even prior to that, I wouldn't know)...worst of all recently with Rage.

Not so sure on putting most of the blame on Bethesda with Rage though...it is ID's engine afterall.

Daggerfall had issues to, and is probably the worst of the series concerning things like that. The only difference is that Daggerfall ran in DOS, so it locked up or got garbled screen rather than CTD... since there is no Desktop in DOS. :)

I am super excited for Skyrim on the 360. I had over 100 hours into Oblivion and I had only closed 1 gate. I did everything else I could first. The game looks amazing.

My wife demanded I preorder this. She has over 500hrs into oblivion, and over 400 ea into fallout 3 and fnv. Days like the 11th I am quite glad I have multiple pc's and 360's in the house (she only plays them on consoles).

Ugh, I want to like this game but I don't think I will. I hated the level up system in Oblivion, having to repair my weapons, the same locations reused 100 times...

I don't mind the repairing of weapons. I wonder if they nerfed the power leveling method of becoming a potion master...

I hated vanilla Oblivion also. Play it on a pc with a couple dozen mods or so, especially Francesco's Item/Creature Level mod(solved the b.s. level up system), Unique Landscape series(solves locations issue), etc.

There is no way I would play a vanilla Morrowind, Oblivion or Skyrim on a console. Play them on the computer with some great mods and it makes the games 1000x better. Been awhile since I have even fired up a console, so not sure if you can even install mods these days with Xbox360 or PS3?

I am not even going to bother buying or installing Skyrim until the talented modders have had a chance to work their magic.
