I reset all of the chips, my 5 volts are correct, so is 12. Before I reset all of the chips I kept getting Rom 14 error. Now I am getting a rom 19 error. . . There is no rom 19, so I am confused.

I am not sure about that game but if there is no rom 19 it might be that it is the rom in row 1 and rom 9. Just sayin' could be that. Row,Rom

I was thinking the same thing but there is 2 rows of rom. Am not sure what row.

Would b row 1 or just pull both in the 9th position and verify in a programmer or if you don't have a programmer verify the connections to the part (rom) to the pins of the socket.

I suspect a bad socket and or rom.....

Post a pic of the roms or look for the part numbers on the pcb and look for the lower numbers. It sould also be on the schematics as to what row is one.

I do not have a programmer right now. I should pick one up it be nice to have. This is my first board am fixing. I will have to test it with a volt meter with the pins. What should the volt be around, if it working or not ? Thanks for the help so far. Ryan

Well I was playing around with the sky shark PCB. Still the same issue, but I noticed that chip c-01 is getting very hot. Could this be my problem.?
