Worked fine for 6 years, now it won't start a game. Wondering if anybody has a clue as to were I should be looking and making either repairs or adjustments. I have pushed in all socketed ICs, have disconnected the display and tried to boot.

Thanks for any suggestions and/or help.

RE: Kinda solved...

Seems the 6 and 7 pins on the long pin block of the Mobo are not working. I ran a set of wires from the leftmost free play button over to the coin mech and that did the trick. Not ideal, but works fine for now.

BTW - That is a Model S.

And you'll need to be more specific when you say it "won't start a game":

1) Game comes up and looks like it's running, but dropping a quarter doesn't do anything?

2) Game isn't coming up at all but lights are on?

3) Balls release when a quarter is dropped, but then it goes straight to game over?

4) Game starts, but balls don't release?

5) Game is completely dead?

6) Game comes on, but display has weird characters/numbers?

Coin switches cause all kinds of problems, especially if hooked up wrong. Have you checked the wiring to the switch, and made sure the switch is good? If you connected your Free Play button tot he same wiring, then we know the inputs are working. They're just not getting a signal from the switch...

RE: thanks for the hint on how to post

I thought I posted video to help clarify/show the problem. Thank you for helping me understand how to be more specific in problem descriptions.

Maybe you did. I didn't look through everything.

I was just trying to give you examples because some of us can give you exact advice if we have specific info...
