Skee ball with hoops. Anyone know anything about these? Anyone looking for one?

I got a call and this person wants to sell a skee ball that has hoops. She said she bought it about 2 years ago. But her kids don't paly it. So she wants to sell it.

She says it like a regular skee ball with basketball hoops. The only one I can find is called is something called Alley HOOPS.

I will need to take it apart and I have never messed with one before. Any advice? Anyone looking for one? This one is in the bay area.

Skee Ball machines cost about $4500 new so make sure she didn't buy a home version sold at sears or kmart 2 years ago

I will know soon. They are moving and they don't want it to go to the new home. I told them I wouldd see if I could find someone interested in it..

If it was made by Skee Ball....its gotta be Alley Hoops. It plays similar to a Skee Ball machine, but has 9 basketball hoops. (3 hoops on 3 shelves) Uses a modified model S PCB, a standalone soundboard, and multiplexer. The runway separates from the back cabinet for shipping.

Here is a link to a home model which sounds like what she described.

thanks for the info. I hope its the commercial one. She said it was very heavy and it took 2 people to deliver it. That one is only 150lbs. Plus she said she did not secure the ball return cover on it, so it sounds like is moving a large ball.. Will see this weekend..

In either case, has anyone pulled one apart? I assume it should be pretty obvious what gets disconnected how it comes apart..

picked it up today. Thanks tom for the help getting it out.. here are some pics.. Its the full size commercial one. I think its missing a metal plate. Maybe we left it somewhere over there.. I think its the top door for the ticket dispenser.

did not set it up. It has all the metal grates (posssibly 2 extra). I think I found 7 wooden balls. Not sure if it should have more.. Now all I have to do is find a a new home for it... It was a little smaller and lighter than I thought it would be. The ally part is about 7ft. The rear part is about the size of a video game..
