So my Model H is missing the ball release lever. It's okay because the balls come back down, but I'd still like to fix it. The underside is very different than the Model S which has the large arm. Here's what it looks like under the lane itself....

After staring at this for a considerable amount of time, I "think" this one works similar to the ICE ball in that I need this lever and spring - and it "should" work.

Am I correct here?

For those following along! I found a machine with the same release. I was able to take it out and take measurements. The one I found was 1/2" x 3/8" - I was able to find a 3/8" x 3/8" steel bar at Home Depot, I cut my own and it nearly works perfectly. One thing to note is that because the space between the solenoid arm and the width of the metal bar, it vibrates like crazy. So if anyone makes their own, I would recommend you either A. Make it wider than pictured or B. Put some washers in between the bar and solenoid arm so that it doesn't have room to wiggle.

I have more photos than this - but my phone won't upload them right now.

Hey man I wanted to thank you for this post. I had an old Skee Ball machine, no idea what model it was, missing this lever. I could not find any pictures of what the Model H mechanism looks like but thanks to your pictures and measurements I was able to quickly whip one up with a grinder, drill, and an old rail road spike which was about 1/2".

It works perfectly
