I posted a list of site upgrades in the last month, as described in another post.
http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?p=1283695#post1283695

Mentioned in the post (amongst other things) is that the site Calendar just moved to be DB driven. Yes, some of you probably didn't even know we had a calendar!

You can now filter the list of events to make it easier to use.

Here are a few examples...

http://www.arcade-museum.com/events.php - all events
http://www.arcade-museum.com/events.php?state=California - only show California events
http://www.arcade-museum.com/events.php?type=Auctions - only show auctions
http://www.arcade-museum.com/events.php?name=Chicagoland Show - only show Chicagoland show dates.

I saw that you processed a bunch of pics. Does that mean you have added the ones worth using to the game pages? And do have more left to process?

The reason I ask is because I submitted a photo a few years ago that is not on the game page, and I need to know if I need to resubmit...

EDIT - I also submitted some corrected info about monitor resolutions that has not been changed, but I don't know if that info has been processed or updated yet. I guess we should wait until you announce that all pending submissions have been processed and updated before resubmitting?

Marque photos and screen shots are caught up. Cabinet photos etc we still have thousands in queue... Those tend to be time consuming.

Tech detail updates is coming in the fall after some significant site upgrades.

I wouldn't mind removing photos of kit games installed in cabs that were obvious conversions...

Do we still have a site to edit photos for the game pages? I'm still up for that if needed.

Thanks,
Steve

Yes, just got to any game page, like http://www.arcade-museum.com/game_detail.php?game_id=6918 for example, and click to add an image. For pages with images already the link is there but smaller.

Yes, I saw that one recently then it slipped my mind before I dealt with it. It's pushed offline now.

I like the events page, but was surprised that those entries don't appear on the calendar.

Ug... i forgot about the forums' calendar page. I'll think about whether or not I want to attack that... If I do, we would probably just push events from the main web site onto the forum calendar or... um..

I vote we just make Modessitt a Moderator. Seems to me this is the guy to get this site back up to date. Walking Arcade Encyclopedia he is.

How about making location mandatory in the For Sale section?

Dek, that's sort of off topic and better for the Suggestion box, though is on the 'to look at list' anyway. I'm sort of focused on the main site and the moment, but before long I'll deal with some forum issues too.
