Sinistar Williams 49-way optical joystick, refurbished w warranty - $119 shipped
I have one Williams 49-way optical joystick for sale. This is the red ball type, used with Sinistar.
Stick has been completely torn down, cleaned, and rebuilt. Details as follows:
- All parts fully washed and dried.
- All small metal parts degreased and tumble cleaned/polsihed.
- Shaft has been drill sanded and polished with fine-grit automotive sandpaper (640, 1000, 1500, and 2000 grit, followed by a final shine with metal polish).
- Ball has been drill polished. Has some normal minor scuffing that could be sanded out if desired, but I've left it original, as it's really not bad.
- Top bearing assembly has been disassembled, degreased/cleaned, and reassembled with new silicone grease. Smoooooth as silk.
- Top assembly has original black finish, and is in excellent shape, with almost no pitting.
- Rubber spider is original and in perfect shape, no dryness or cracking.
- All optos have been tested, and stick has been verified to be fully functional.
This stick is basically the same as an Archrivals 49-way (which have orange knobs instead of red), however I've noticed that Sinistar sticks usually have only two U-shaped cutouts in the top part of the base, whereas Archrivals have three cutouts, for some unknown reason.
Also, this stick has a red rubber spider with no e-clip securing the center hole of the spider, whereas Archrivals sticks typically have black rubber, and a 5th e-clip in the center, at the end of the shaft. I think these differences are mainly cosmetic though, and don't have any functional impact. However in any case this is an authentic Sinistar stick.
$119 shipped in the US, with 6 month warranty. Int'l shipping extra.
