I have a partially working Sinistar cockpit that needs a total restoration for sale in upstate NY. Im asking 250 and would really like to not have to part it out.

Needs full cabinet rebuild with replacement wood cut from these origionals, too much of a project for me. Game plays but no up/down on the joystick.

Do you think the cpu board is Ok?

Sinistar has been on my want list but it sounds like it would take alot to get this one up to par.

Is that wood swelling you can see in the first picture above the cockpit entry? And actually, I think you can see the camera flash showing a more in other areas... bummer.

Does it look like that in person or is the flash bringing out the worst? I'm assuming it's bad if you're saying it needs wood replaced... :( Bummer because the price is definitely right for me. ;) (ie. a cheap bastard!!!)

Is it just some wood swelling or is it falling apart from rot in places. To me a little swelled wood isn't a deal breaker as long as the cab is still solid over all.

This one is now playing good other than a joystick issue (no up or down). The cab looks better than the pic presents, but not much. The cab has different degrees of swelling, the worst being at the top but is still integral enough to lift and move around or use as is. I have it setup and playing in the trailer you see it in and will try and have the joystick fixed here shortly.
I paid 100
30 in gas
20 in tolls
50 in parts (fresh rebuilt ps board and heatsink)
priceless my time getting it up and running

If it doesnt sell im not going to part it ill just keep it and when I get the time and ambition ill restore it myself.

PS Jeff if you come and get it your going to have to buy some of my cinematronic games to make it worth the trip!
