Never seen Sini CKPT stencils nor Blaster CKPT stencils for sale.
Thanks for the vids explaining how fiberglass/resin and ABS don't mix.
I also have a Sini CKPT that needs seat repair. Now I know to not use the more common fiberglass/resin technique.
For my CKPT, I doubt that I'd ever repaint it. Never seen Sini CKPT stencils nor Blaster CKPT stencils for sale.
i am no expert but i know abs slurry is absolutely amazing!! it hardens in seconds and eats into the surrounding material to make one solid piece. and the best thing is there is no need to paint it afterwardsSlow kick aluzine epoxy might work?
The problem is you would need to run a test to check.
Troy's classic Arcade Restoration on youtube is doing a series on Sinistar restore, there are a few episodes with painting the artwork, he started taping off by color but then came across some markers which seem to work for him () check it out...in case you don't find stencils.
