I'm at the beginning of my very first restore. My Konami 4 player Simpsons cab has a working power supply, but no power cord currently. Looking to buy a replacement and I just want to make sure the universal power cord listed below is indeed universal for my application.

Can anybody give a quick yes or no?

When buying a replacement cord, what are the specifics I need to be aware of?

That'll be fine.

For future reference a power cord for a single cab should be at least 18 gauge wire and should have three wires. Make sure the length is what you need and if it is going into a pre-existing connector make sure it is the right connector.

Very helpful, thank you - I haven't purchased that cord yet, so I'll look for something that matches your description.

Thanks again.

I wouldn't bother buying one. Cut the end off an old PC cable, or cut the cable from an unused/faulty appliance.
I agree if it's long enough. I've noticed it's the same gauge as my arcade machines. Of course it has hot, cold, and your ground which would work.
