Simpsons Pinball Party & Cirqus Voltaire gameplay vids!

Hey thanks for posting the CV video, best one I've seen yet. The picture quality is great on that camera.

Yep...you enjoy that amazing room(more like rooms) of pins.

I think that CV vid's focus was a bit off...oh well, I'm still practicing and figuring this thing out. I need to get a proper editing program though...for some reason the sound gets that clicky distortion after youtube monkeys with it....but I'm pretty much just uploading raw footage. Eventually I'll get it all figured out and make it more professional...edit out the boring parts and whatnot.

I played a Circus Voltaire this weekend at the Pinball Hall of Fame, it's a lot of fun! The notes about the history of the circus after the game were a nice touch, too.

Hey Greg,

On TSPP are most of the voice quotes from Homer? In the vid it seemed I heard his voice waaaaay more than the other characters. Are there any settings to adjust it, or was is just happenstance from that particular game that you recorded?

I like these HD videos. I also like the pop up notes. Good job!

The only constructive criticism I could give, would be that an overhead view in the general vicinity of eye view would be awesome. That would probably be quite the complicated camera setup though.

Yeah, my Tripod isn't high enough...maybe I can put it on a chair or something.

All the quotes in the game are from Hank Azaria, Dan Castellaneta, and Nancy Cartwright. So, its mostly Homer and Bart w/ the random instructional calls (shoot the left ramp, shoot the orbit, etc). There are no female voices...no Marge, Lisa, etc. Well, Nancy is female, but all her voices are boys!!!

The other characters talk usually when it's appropriate to a mode or shot.

-Moe when hitting the right ramp (Moe's Tavern)
-Wiggum and Snake during Wiggum mode
-Kang (or Kodos..whichever one Dan C. voices) during Alien Invasion
-Itchy and Scratchy during their multiball
-Krusty for the spinner & "It's time for Itchy and Scratchy)
-Cletus for the left orbit
-Apu for the Kwik-E-Mart loop
-Grampa has some random quotes when you do something poorly (Back in my day, we didn't have flippers!)
-Groundskeeper Willie & Nelson during Willie's mode (also Nelson "HA-HA's" when you lose sometimes)
-Rodd (or is it Todd?) when you tilt (Cheating makes the baby Jesus cry!)
-Comic Book Guy whenever you hit his target, and he taunts you during the hurry-ups. Sometimes you get a "Worst...Ball...Ever!" When you lose.
-Sea Captain during his Treehouse mode
-Some random Prof. Frink and Quimby quotes

Probably some others I'm leaving out! Even though the sound quality isn't as good as the SAM games, the sound package is impressive...it's pretty much ALL custom voice quotes. Some show favorites, too...dunno if they were re-recorded for the game.

Why is the camera always on a slant? My damn neck hurts from watching your 10 min videos . I enjoy watching them and you are damn good at pinball. The Simpsons looks more fun compared to the CV. I like the Spiderman you did a while back as well.

Cuz I can fit "more pin" in a 16:9 aspect ratio that way. Some people put the camera on the lockdown bar, but then you can't see the DMD. I can put it way up over my shoulder, but then you have all that wasted space on the sides....but, maybe I'll try it....I'm just experimenting right now.

I do enjoy your videos, very nice machines and your a good player to, fun to watch you play. That Simpson pin was some fast action multi-ball and you handled like a pro. Fun, fun stuff.

Greg that CV is awesome! I played I believe was a prototype at expo this year couldn't tell them apart besides the "whitewood" playfield. I wanna get one of these cause the machine has one of the best lightshows in a pin but the damn pricetag this thing demands!!! Are you still having fun with it in your collection? I vote some BSD action next!!!!!!!

Yeah !!! Let's see a breakdown of some fierce BSD action !!!

I would also like to see you play your TZ, along with an explanation of why it's such an outstanding pin to own and play.
