I'm sure Silverball Museum in Asbury Park, NJ has been mentioned here, but I'll add another thread to give them some extra props. Anyone else been there?

I took my first trip there yesterday afternoon, and it was really great. I was really very impressed. All the machines were in really nice condition, and most of them had a little plaque on top with information about the machine. They had a few vids there -- Ms. Pac, Galaga, Centipede, and a couple multigame machines -- but it was mostly pinball and EM games. A couple vintage Skee-Ball machines too, complete with the little lever that you have to pull to start your game... I haven't played one like that since I was a kid! Really cool place though. I highly recommend it.

(While you're at it, you can make a day of it and also swing by Red Bank - not too far away - and check out Yestercades. http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=206621)

Yup me and the wife took a drive over there earlier in the summer. Very cool place. I'm not much of a pin guy (though I enjoy watching the experts play), but it certainly did its damndest to convert me from vids, though that ain't happenin' :)

Really neat to see/play the older stuff.

I was blown away by not only the number of games but by how well they operated. Keeping that many Electro-Mechanical games running good is no small task. The newer 80s/90s pins actually were the ones that needed work, and I wish they had more of them. Clearly the owner(s) is/are partial to the EM era.

Agreed all around. I really enjoyed playing Sea Raider (I think that was the one... I know there are some similar submarine games out there) -- when I was at the arcade at Cedar Point last summer, they had some similar games but none seemed to work right. Also, they really had a cornucopia of various baseball games too. That's a bonus for me -- the old lady loves playing those, so it guarantees me some return trips!
