I have attached some images of the IO board and computer from a Silver Strike I picked up recently. When everything is plugged in I get an error 6 Detected USB IO Disconnected check connections turn off for 10 seconds and try again. I have 3 green lights on the IO board the top one flashes sometimes. I see the version of Silver Strike that the hard drive label says but I do not know the version of my IO board. Anyone that could help me. I don't even know if this is the right IO board for what I have. It was in the cabinet and the computer was handed to me separate.

What should I be checking or looking for? Also if anyone could tell me what version this is?

Let me see if I can assist some. I may be way off so if I am someone please correct me.
First off you have to have a older SSB version as you have a AGP slot motherboard and not the PCIe so figure something around 2007 to 2009. Second a IO board is a IO board. you really need to focus on the 2 8 pin Chips on it. And I see you have the HTC-1T chip... so IIRC that should be a SSB security chip. I think it is the same one I have in mine.

Try moving the IO board USB plug to another port and see what happens. Also where is your CID board? That also needs to be plugged into the USB and it should be a 17 "again IIRC"
If all else fails see if you can locate another IO board to test with, you "May" have a bad one.

It appears that I am missing the CID board. How do I determine what version of the game I have so I can get the right one for it? Also does anyone happen to have one they are looking to sell or trade?

Pretty sure CID boards are for each game(gt, ssb, pp, ect...)only thing that really matters is game chip matching with security chip, and your HD is running same version

I have a Spare CID if you can't find one. For the original SSB, you would need the #17 CID board.
