I am having a problem getting in to the OPERATORS MENU for Silver Strike Bowling 2007. According to the manual that came with it (which is a regular Silver Strike manual) I am to set SW202 Dip 4 to ON to get to the OPerators Mode Menus... problem is that when I set Dip 4 to ON I get this error (after a long load)...

WARNING: The following switches are stuck, closed, or wired incorrectly: 202.4...

That sounds like it's reading that I set Dip 4 on SW202 as indicated to ON... right? Well... all I get is that error then it loads the game as usual. If I turn it OFF I don't get the error. Any suggestion?

Hey Friz, is this the same MB as Golden Tee Fore? If so, did you try the GT operator mode switch? Dip switch 1 to OFF in the row by the JAMMA connector that has them all on by default.

Sorry if that doesn't help at all! Haven't found a nice SS board set yet!

ssb

I too have a ssb game. I am not sure what year mine is.

My marquee says "silver strike bowling" It is newer I know that.

anyways. my game boots from a computer (nighthawk) and runs from an hdd.

To access the menu on mine i have buttons inside the coin door. service/test/ect.

your 07 ssb should be on a computer also. should not be any dip settings to adjust.

thanks
chris

If it helps any, there were no dip switches I messed with in my cabinet, it used the switches that were in the GT cabinet VIA the jamma harness.

Heck, I didn't even know there WERE dip switches on the outside of the nighthawk box

The Dip Switch is on the I/P board... there are 3 banks of 4 switches. One changes resolution, the 2nd does nothing and the 3rd is supposed to drop you in the Operators Menu Mode... it doesn't. No biggie though as the Service Switch DOES work (duh!)...

I just picked up a SSB kit + switcher and managed to get it all working last night... PHUK YEAH!!!
