I have a silent scope, when I turn it on, the monitor might wig out a little, like wiggle, shake, shrink a little, and flash white or green. if I smack the side of the cabinet, it stops, but then might do it again. However once the game warms up (usually the time where the game loads) then it will stop. Any ideas?

Try with a vga monitor plugged in just to rule out the game board, but im guessing youll need to reflow the header pins on the chassis. Sounds like the remote board connector to me, but id reflow each of em just to be safe.

Medium res and VGA are two different resolutions. And a K7500 is medium res.

Just cuz it might have a VGA port on it doesn't mean its VGA. DDR CPU's have a VGA port but they output CGA through the port.

I could have sworn my silent scope 2 has a k7000 in it. If it does, I have a nice medium rez I can put in it. A quick look at the manual online does not say anyting about switching rez. I probably will have time to check it on sunday.

Just checked mine and it has k7500.

I am well aware of that. The output will sync to a pc monitor with a vga connection, so its not just a straight rgb med res signal.

Modern LCD. When my 7501 was on the fritz, I took the small lcd tv from my xbox 360, and plugged it right in and it worked fine.

I wouldnt have thought to try it until monster kong posted that he was selling all his med res tubes from his ss games because he put lcd's in em.

Yes, its a k7500. I have 2 arcades and had to get them fixed. I opened the side door where the pc is, and unplugged the vga connector going to the monitor then plugged a pc monitor into the vga port and it worked. Strange thing thou, it was a small flat screen lcd monitor that worked but the larger wide screen lcd flat monitor didnt work, cant figure that one out
