I have an old Sigma mech-reel 3 reel machine, ID plate says Model:Mech 3 Reel WD / Model:W3113 / Serial #. After fixing a bunch of wiring destroyed by mice and getting the hopper operating smoothly, I started to play. After noticing some of the payouts are incorrect, I did a reel test, and found that several spots on all 3 reels, the display indicates incorrect symbols. I figured that perhaps someone had reassembled things wrong at some point and put the reels in the wrong order, but that doesn't seem to be the case. After the first reel starts it's symbol ID rotation, it calls for a blank space, then a single bar. None of the 3 reels have that. The reels do match the game, which matches the chip on the main board. Is this information programmable? Or are there other possible explanations/options/fixes? Thanks for any info.

Edit: I did a bit more reading in the manuals I have managed to come up with(none of which I can say with certainty cover this exact model), and found this tidbit... 'Please advise before Payout Ratio or Top Award is changed because for some models, the Reel Tape or Top Award Seal must be replaced.' I -did- change the ratio, because the 80% it was set to made it not so fun to play. I'm hoping to be able to keep the higher ratio...

Edit #2: I had some more time to do some testing/trial and error research today, and managed to figure out my answers. Reference for anyone else, the mech-3 reel Sigma machines seem to have different reel tape for above 90% payout vs below. Changing back to below that threshold put everything back in order with the reel test.
