What is your preferred glue to reglue side art that is not gone but only peeling off?
Still in good shape to reattach just wanting to know anyone's prefernce as to what holds up the best.
Thinking about contact cement or ?

if you lean the game over and prop it so it doesnt fall and crush your butski, you can work under there in the "negative" space under the hanging art so theres fewer air bubbles.

i was recently told by a collector who's advice i trust that wood glue did a good job for him in these situations.
I thought about wood glue but wasn't sure if it would hold over a period of time. Plus having to keep pressure on it until it dries, but I may go ahead and give it a try.

Wood glue will probably hold up pretty well and cleans up easily. Just tape down the art with blue painter's tape after and let it sit for a day.

yep. basically apply the wood glue, press the art into place and quickly wipe away the excess glue that is pushed out from beneath the art. Initially the wood glue won't be strong enough to hold the art in place. Once the excess glue has been wiped away hold the art back down and use blue painters tape to hold it in place. Leave it dry for about 24 hrs before removing the tape. When you remove the painters tape pull the tape off starting from the side of the tape nearest the center of the art and peal off toward the outer edge. Like with premask it's a good idea to peal the tape at a bit of an angle rather than pulling straight up.

BTW I'm not sure how well this will work on a vinyled cab but I've seen it work reapplying side art to a wood/painted wood cab.

OK, did the deed.
Used wood glue and blue painters tape with mixed results.
The wood glue seemed to work OK on the vinyl art but not the blue painters tape.
The tape took off some of the art paint when carefully pulled off at nearly a 360 degree (or any degree) angle within about 30 minutes of gluing.
Didn't expect that!
So I then tried the wood glue along with a heat gun to soften the vinyl for about 5 seconds and I did not have to use the tape to hold it down.
Put glue under the vinyl, heat it until softened, for me that was about 5-10 seconds on low and about 10" away, then press vinyl into place and let dry.
Now let's see if the glue holds

I've used contact cement with good results. Just use it very very sparingly, too much will soften the side art and cause it to soften up and deform. The tube says to apply to both pieces being glued, let it dry and then stick. I've had better results using it sparingly on the cabinet side, letting it set up for about a minute and then laying down the side art smooth.

I use a can of spray adhesive, has worked excellent for me 3 times, but I was also sanding and repainting afterwards, the adhesive sprayed on a finished vinyl or paint may look hazy so mask it first...
