Sick and tired of drilling!

while drilling sucks just be forewarned that lock picking is a skill. So don't expect to be able to pick locks on day one that you get the set unless you have some experience picking locks or at least an understanding of how locks work.

Yeah, they don't carry much of that stuff. If we get locked out of a vehicle we just take the serial number to parts and have them cut a key...hehe.

How long does it take you to drill out a lock? I think the max for me is, um, maybe a minute? Most come of in 15-30 seconds...

I've broken enough bits to fill an entire kit...or use one up!

I'd love to see video of a lock being drilled out that quick, my "record" is about 10 minutes. Slow and steady. I guess I heated the locks up too much and didn't use quality bits.

The lock picks are at the very least going to be fun...

You're kidding right? Ten minutes to drill a lock?

Amen. Never taken me more than 20 seconds to drill out a lock. I use a nice 1/2 drill and a #7 Vari-Bit. Used it on dozens of locks and hasn't broken yet.

DealExtreme is great. It's surprising how cheap some of their stuff is. And the customer reviews are entertaining, if not useful. E.g. on the 9-pc lock pick set:

"The small half-diamond pick can be thrown no-spin style from about 10 feet away and penetrate into treated pine, making it an awesome improvised weapon in case someone sneaks up on you while you're picking their garden shed (although I don't condone use of these for illegal activities)"

What about a slide hammer dent puller.. That is what I use. I screw it into the key hole, then just slide hammer on back a few times.. bends the lever without denting the door any.. Works really good.. No prying with screwdrivers or anything. It's just like if you were on the inside of the door pushing out.

no offense bro, but you are never allowed near any of my games. that just sounds like a really harsh way to open a coin door.
