OK, Now I have real problems with this monitor. It was fine up until about a week ago when it would not power on. I have no problems at all with the game. It starts and the sound is fine. I pulled the back cover and checked the fuse on the board and it is good and I have 120v going to the board. I put my hand on the side of the heat sink next to the fly back and it is warm so I know I am getting power to it. There is no static on the screen and the neck does not glow. Somebody swapped a SI-325 (Sharp Image) into this machine. I confirmed through Bob Roberts page. What should I do next to troubleshoot? Thanks

Steve

Any help with this? I was reading about this board and found some info that said the SI-325 is a re-branded Kortek. I just need some troubleshooting info to lead me towards either getting the monitor replaced or the board fixed. Thanks in advance.

Cap Kit required

The High Voltage section of the monitor has failed. The best thing is to do a cap kit on the boards. Use Bob Roberts site (therealbobroberts.net) to ID the monitor and look at his tips.

Good luck,

R
