Dartboard Header

Interesting. Looks like an arachnid 4500 cabinet and fat spider with a custom control panel and board.

Where does the target plug in? the 2x8 header in the middle?

Do you have pictures of the inside?

Here are some photos, yes it connects to the middle of the board..

Interesting. It certainly does look like it uses the Arachnid Target interface for the older 3-ribbon boards.

Unsure why it is stuck and can't seem to find a manual for the board.

I spoke with Tom Iverson (Northwest CoinOp area) for a short period of time on the phone. He was very familiar with this board set. I wish I would have asked him more questions. :)

I havent spent much time trying to fix it, have a few other projects.. dont we all..

steel tip the only way to play darts!

Just got a Valley Cougar SM w/Ernie

Only thing I need to do is replace the locks & button bulbs.

I have a few. Lol

Picked this one up back in 2008. Has been a solid champ for these last 10 years.

I'm in the process of revamping it a bit (LED bulbs, adding a second monitor/LCD, adding a credit button, sensor adjustments, etc.)

I decided to rebuild the Neotec color VGA monitor while I'm at it. I'm also going to replace some components on the target head, since Medalist still supports these things and sells parts.

Just picked this up and am upgrading the power supply which has failed. I have not found another like it online so far. It is just a Super 6 plus II but is all wood.

This might be a custom one someone with a CNC Router did to try it. Really cool looking. The Arachnid ones has the serial stamped in the side of the top and bottom part on one side.

I don't think that is the case. I got it from a friend who got it out of the bar he worked at in the 90s. None the less it's cool.

My Cougar wall mount. One of these days I'm going to build a cabinet under it.

I agree with the above post, that is a great space.

Is this a full cabinet that you did not have the bottom for? I have that with my Galaxy boards, but they are 12" wide, so not too condusive to wall mounting.

That's awesome. I love the space it's in - perfect for darts.

Thanks!! I was going to make it a closet when I finished the basement, then I thought it would make a great place for a dartboard. It's a full cabinet, they don't have a bottom. You never see them for sale.

That's awesome. Now I need to find a picture of how they mounted it o I can make mounts for mine. I considered building a new cabinet for mine and making it wall mountable with only 8" deep, but that hasn't materialized yet due to figuring out the mounting.
