So when I moved into our new house, and my games were still in the gayrage, I ended up buying 3 lightswitch covers for the light switches in the empty room downstairs. I bought a Troy Polamalu, a Sidney Crosby and a Penn State one. Now that half of my games are in the "game room", I'm thinking I should change these out for something more arcade related.

So what cool switchplate covers are on your light switches in your game room????!!!

Was it Phet or Jow that had this one?

I just know you were thinking of me when you started this thread, huh? :D I still haven't finished it yet, though... Sigh. :(

that's truly awesome! i want one!

This is the best "Show Me Your" turned "FS: Arcade Coin Return Light Switches" thread, ever! :D

Gotta finish working the bugs out of mine. Still haven't completed it. It's like 95% done. And I'm not sure I can source parts cheap enough to make it affordable yet... :(

Soon. But I'm glad you guys dig it. I figured this forum would be the best market...

C'mon, others show your switches, too!

Dude, I SO need these. I thought that if I bluffed like I was going to bypass you and buy some crappy switchplates, that you'd get off your a$$ and finish these!! ;)

Soon.

If you want to make one alongside me, I had an extra stainless steel plate cut in case I screwed this one up. PM me and we can figure out a trade of some sort. Then just get a coin reject switch, install... I can send you a small piece of the thin backing aluminum / bracket to make the switch holder from, with the measurements, and then you locate a switch, and it's a race to completion... :D

Soon, mine will be done. Hell, I could do it tonight if I wasn't so busy mounting my giant mirror into my arcade... (Tonight's goal) If for some reason I get that completed, I will spend the rest of my time working on getting the switch working properly.

Well, at least you can relate!

It's a low priority, but I will move it up the list for ya. If I have time tonight, I will make more progress. It's really not that far from completion.

Now... Pricing everything and making these to sell... That's in the near future, if I can source the parts cheap enough... I do have a friend that's going to help me produce these. I'm just hoping to not have to solder each one personally... I can do it, but... Meh.

Can anyone here hook me up with some cheap coin reject parts? The shroud and red/orange 25¢ part?
