You show how much of a low life piece of shit you are. Boohoo I have Lupis.. Well bitch, if you get cancer and it's terminal, I will tell you boohoo too. Do you EVER contribute to a thread that has any value? You been here so long but yet you contribution is null, just worthless. When people who actually try to contribute and then a simple question is asked and a person answers, you feel the need to act like you know all about them and talk shit. It's not my fault that your fat ass is stuck jerking off since you are too much of a fucking nerd. You are a reminder to myself why it was such a thrill beating the shit out of nerds like you. Thanks for the smile :)

Boo-hoo? (and LOL... "talk thru your other ass"? :D)

Boo-hoo?

Boo-hoo AND you were/are a fucking moron?

Uh-huh. If you can't take the heat don't say stupid shit. And way to completely avoid refuting any of the points I made, you sure served me on that one. "I'm right because I'm right and am some kind of upstanding forum member. With Lupis." WTF?

PS way to turn to childish insults like "moron" and "Einstein" as well. Please misword a few more sentences, misspell a few more words, and/or make threats of physical violence in your next reply btw. That would simply make my day.

This shows how much you know about me or how many of my posts you have read. And your reply shows how angry and self-righteous you are. And again big ups for actually having an argument and not just trying to play the sympathy card.

You lose. But thanks for playing.

EDIT: And also thanks for basically making a physical threat. It really did make my day. You are teh internetz tuff guy.

Tip?!?!?! If I gave a tip, it would be "Grass is always greener on the other side of the septic tank'. Sorry, but I don't think consumers should have to pay someone who is already being paid to do their job. Like waitress/waiters, Why is it we pay the business for service and yet be responsable for paying most of the servers wage? That is why I get my food to go, I am not going to encourage that type of business practice. You are paying for that game to be delivered. WTF would you give them extra money? Would they do extra like hauling it to your basement when they just drop it off in your driveway? Hell no they wouldn't!

Kevin
Sorry bro but your absolutely wrong. Every server is not the same. Eating out and getting good service is entertainment. You should pay your servers accordingly. If they give you good service, tip them. Trust me most servers know it's their livelyhood and will go out of their way to make sure you have a great time.

I just received a new stainless steel stove and refridgerator and the guys were extremely careful in bringing them in, offered to move the old fridge to garage which i politely denied, and they set everything up and made sure i was happy before they left. I of course tipped them because ive had appliance deliverers just show up..drop the stuff off and not care about how they bang up your shit.

Tekkev, Kspiff is a good guy. Ive dealt with him on 2 or 3 transactions and he is a valuable asset to KLOV imo. Its ok to get into a pissing match but man i think both of u guys bring great things to KLOV. Dont alienate one another :D

BTW before i jumped onto the railroading of this thread,

FathomDave, if the guy cares about your product more then just making another delivery then of course you should throw him 5, 10, 20 bucks. It will make his day and IF he ever gets another delivery for your house, u bet he will take care of you.

Just a tidbit, every restaurant I've eaten at has automatically added 15% or more to the bill if the party was 6 or 8 people or larger. I didn't notice once and THEN tipped, then I went back and got my tip back after reading the bill. (This was my fault for not reading the bill that one time out of 100). Even though most restaurants add that 15-20% for large parties, it's still a "dirty trick" as I'm sure many times it hasn't been noticed and then the server was double-tipped.

I tip fairly, probably too generously. But whatever... it's not a law, and it's a judgement call... Apparently it is the best money making way for the business owner or else they'd approach the situation differently. If someone thinks most servers suck and don't deserve a tip, so be it. (the truth is, many servers don't do a good enough job to earn a tip, and most people give the standard 15-20% tip anyway).

I flashed them a smile to get them to do it... I offered them each a tip after they did it, but they all refused. I guess it was a good smile :p

The mailman gets nothing as they mess up our mail almost daily...

WHen I had my Funhouse pinball delivered, they drive helped me to get the machine up my steep driveway into my garage. We tried to give him a $20 tip but he completely refused. Something about they are not allowed to accept tips, or something. $20 was a small price to pay for the help he gave me.

If a restaurant autotips i find somewhere else to eat. If i have to eat at an autotipping joint because my party is too big i politely tell the server that i enjoyed their service but their restaurant prevents me from extending more money their way. When i do this i hope the server bitches their managers out and try to get the policy changed. (i worked as a server for 8 years and have never expected autotips)

Wafflehouse autotips carryouts because the servers are the ones in charge of getting the carry-outs together. I would do the same thing for cracker barrel and it's a huge pain in the ass to make sure someones carryout is ready. BTW who the fuck would want take out eggs????

Tekkev, Kspiff is a good guy.

Meh. I have no problem with Teckkev. He just said something which seemed ignorant and made him sound like a cheapskate, I tried to argue it, and he replied back without arguing any of my points, called me a moron, and insinuated that I'm a troll and never make any worthwhile posts. And then from there we move on to being a borderline internet tuff guy.

If he becomes alienated from here it is due to his own arrogance, stubbornness, and/or inability to argue a point or admit he might not always be right. I take no responsibility for that.

EDIT: Oh and two more things:

1.) Aside from the tipping thing *I* think teckkev is a good poster for the most part (I'm secure enough to admit that <shrug>);
2.) As long as I get my food, don't get insulted, and am not broke I usually throw down 25-30% if eating alone. Tip usually also goes down on the table before the meal is served so the waiter/server knows that their tip is in the bag and they don't need to prostrate/castrate themselves. This is all regardless of whether they smile, make me feel like a worthwhile human being, give me a boner, etc., determining how much to tip based on anything other than pure ability to serve is bullshit.

Kspiff.. moron? You were the one stating who i am. I don't even know you and you don't know me! I never had a beef with you, but dude, you can't tell people who i am when you don't know me. Yes, I attack back. Re-read the thread (if you have an hour), and see where the flame starts.. it sure wasn't me! The post about walmart employees are mental, I thought that was funny with wife works at walmart and made a smart ass reply back to him regarding it. It wasn't attack at me so I played with him on it. Yours was a direct attack at me. Over an opinion? Yours is nothing compared to jar that even stated it is gospel not opinion. Come on people, you need to understand some are not going to have your same views, just need to respect it and let it be. People that want to tip everyone they see, good for them. I am not going to bash them for it. It's their money and they can tip if they want. I stated I do tip, that is why I rarely go out. I don't like supporting consumers being responsable for their employees pay. I feel sorry for waitresses that basically have to pimp themselves for their pay. It's not right. they should get at least min wage like everyone else has a right to. The next post, moron I careless being called that or anything else. Don't f'ng ever say boohoo to a terminal illness! That really showed no class. Most here knows I careless what others think of me or whether they like me or not. If someone going to start getting personal with a flame, I'm not going to let it idle. I sent the thread owner an apology for this crap and I didn't even start the damn flaming.

Meh. No, I don't have an hour. And if your original post which will reveal you to not be an ass on the tipping thing is as cryptic as your responses to me I'd need some kind of teckkev Babelfish anyways. Sorry.

[Deleting rest of post. This is pointless. I have no idea why you brought up your terminal disease or what it has to do with anything nor do I have a clue why you are against the concept of tipping underpaid workers who will never get what they deserve from their employers. Sounds like the idealistic griping of a cheapskate to me, but what do I know.]

Would you sit in a cab all day and then bitch if the driver expected a guaranteed tip? What about your barber's chair. My guess is probably not. That seat is how they make their money. I don't agree with adding a tip to parties of 6-8, but anything over that a tip should be added. Look at it this way - you and your friends decide to meet somewhere for dinner and there's 15 of you. So the place doesn't piss off a large party they will hold those tables for them. This could be anywhere from 3-5 tables a server isn't making money off of for an hour or two. The party comes in and the following scenario happens - people leave earlier and there's always a cheapskate or two or someone who miscalculates their bill. They forget that they were chugging Grey Goose all night or they special ordered some $30 meal. The last guy/couple at the table gets hosed. On top of their bill they have to cover for couple x and cover a decent tip and often the tip suffers. But at the end of the night the server has to tip out the bartender, food runner and busboy on a percentage of their sales. Not tips, sales.

I know this is not a comparable situation, but I always tip moving people. We have moved cross country 3 times (twice company moves). Both times I loaded the fridge up with various sodas and water and told them to help themselves. When they left I loaded the sodas into their cooler. Everybody else that moved those times bitched about missing boxes, broken things, issues with dings in the walls when the stuff was moved out/in. Not us.

The first time we moved cross country I went out to Subway and bought a dozen subs and fed the crew that was packing and the driver. His wife was doing the inventory sheets. She told me that they had been moving people for over 20 years and this was the first time anyone had ever fed them. It is not like this guy was just any mover, he had been National Mover of the Year 3 times for Allied.

If they just sling your game into the driveway when they drive by at 30 mph, you got what you paid for. If they do a decent job and are reasonable careful with your baby, offer a tip or at least a couple sodas/waters for the road.
