All of them testing good, but as you can see are burnt to hell. In addition, they're 35 years old.
Should I replace them?

If that is a Williams pinball driver board, you definitely want to replace them, there are some better resistors now then what they used back then.
I'm assuming that this is on a williams pinball driver board.those are 3 watt resistors can't remember the value but get the same value of resistors but get the 5 watt ceramic type.
That pcb looks familiar![]()
Disco Fever baby!
Been doing a shit ton of work to it these past few days. When I am done, it'll be ready for another 35 years of play.
So get the 27ohm 5 watt ceramic resistors as replacements...correct?

I always replace them when a board comes in for repair looking like that. You can swap the transistors over to mosfets, which help quite a lot, as they get hot as hell.
The TIP41/TIP42 transistors just take a lot of power to drive them and the resistors are undersized from the factory.

I have a few 2N6122's that are bad. What is an execptable replacement for them?
To add - when mounting the new resistors, leave a gap under them for air flow (don't mount them tight to the board).
