Well this one is listed not too far from me. I like the look of Fireball II and it has most of the features I adore in a pin early speech/MultiBall/drop targets.

Buddy is asking 200 and says it has board issues, looks like the playfield has some wear but the backglass looks pretty nice in the pics.

I hate you for even debating this... I would love to have that game. drop target overload and multiball. Yummy!

Well the only debate is that I literally have no space for this and we are expecting another baby.

that being said I spoke to my buddy with a pickup and a basement and we may make a run this weekend to score it.

I love the colours on the game and all the features listed above get me excited

Well I spoke to the seller today and I will go and pick this up early next week. I would go sooner but with the hurricane coming we decided next week is best.

Game is missing the playfield glass and might not have a matching set of legs. It is also missing the lock down bar for the glass.

the seller advised that the game was working but he sold another bally game and took the ultimate mpu and put it in that pin. He does have an mpu but does not know for what game he said it might be a xenon or six million dollar man.

I will also be getting his box of bally parts with extra displays, coils, sound boards etc. He said I can have them as that is his last bally game and he does not need them!

He never got the sound working on the game and i guess that makes sense if he was using the wrong sound board.

So what I will need sound like an mpu, sound board, playfield glass, and lock down bar, maybe some legs and i will be enjoying some fireball II action.

The backglass he said is pretty much perfect not cracking or chips or flaking.

I am pretty stoked. The wife might kill me but when i showed it to her she said she perfers the look of this one to my Mars.

Oh and the guy is a gottlieb nut so i might be able to get some ideas from him on my Mars when i am there.

New game pick up!

I went out tonight and picked up this game. the back glass looks great. I would post more pics but since i have no legs for the game I can not stick it all together yet.

That starts the questions. What kind of legs did this have originally? I think i saw they should be gray but every pic i see they look black. How long should they be? all the same length or are the front legs shorter?

Also I need a glass for the playfield, can I just get a local glass shop to cut me a tempered piece of glass and if so what should the dimensions be?

the playfield is rough but I know a guy with a nice (not perfect) clear coated NOS playfield.

Should be a fun project. I will start a proper resto thread on this soon enough.
